The ruling on a woman's fast if blood comes out of her before sunset

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
There is a woman who fasted Ramadan, but before sunset, blood came out of her. Should she complete the fast or break it? Please note that the blood is not menstruation, as it came after her monthly period. What is the ruling on her fast?

Answer:
If a woman is fasting and menstruation comes upon her before sunset, or blood that is considered menstruation comes before sunset, the fast is invalid.
As for if it is after sunset, after the sun has set, her fast is valid, even if it is before she prays Maghrib. As long as it is after she breaks her fast following the setting of the sun, her fast is valid.
However, if it is before sunset and the blood is considered menstruation, it invalidates her fast. But if it is not, if it is yellowish discharge or brownish discharge, this does not invalidate the fast. Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her, and she was one of the female Companions) said: "We did not count brownish discharge or yellowish discharge after purity as anything." But if blood comes out, the original ruling for blood is that it is menstruation. Perhaps... she becomes pure, and then the blood returns to her. But if it is yellowish or brownish discharge after purity, this does not harm her.
