Question:
Some preachers have appeared claiming that His Eminence Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) passed away while praising and recommending the Tabligh Jamaat and the Muslim Brotherhood. Is this statement true?
Answer:
This statement is not true. We sat with him for more than ten years and never heard him praise anyone but the people of the Sunnah and the community. He called people to the people of the Sunnah and the community and advised those who erred among the other groups, such as the Tablighi and others, to retract their error. This is what I know about my Shaykh, Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him). Yes.
