Kin Who Hurt the One Who Maintains Ties

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What if the kin hurt the one who maintains ties with them?

Answer:
Answer: He should be patient with their harm and maintain ties with them. A man came to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I have a relative whom I maintain ties with, but they cut me off." He said (peace and blessings be upon him): "If you are as you say, it is as if you are pouring molten lead over them, and Allah will not cease to be a helper for you against them." So, be good to them and make them regret it, because if you are good to them while they are bad to you, they will regret it and feel pain from it. It is as if you are pouring molten lead over them. You have fulfilled the right that is upon you, so do not look at the fact that they neglected their right toward you.
