The polytheists used to say to the Messenger: "A sorcerer, a soothsayer, a liar," and so on. And Allah commanded him to be patient—He commanded His Messenger to be patient—and they did not demonstrate in Makkah, and they did not demolish any of the houses of the polytheists, and they did not kill anyone. Patience and calmness until Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) makes ease for the Muslims. The obligatory thing is calmness, especially in these days and these trials and these evils currently present in the lands of the Muslims. So calmness is required, and not rushing into these matters.
