"Indeed, the magnitude of the reward is with the magnitude of the trial"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A questioner says: "Indeed, the magnitude of the reward is with the magnitude of the trial." Is this a hadith? And what is its meaning?

Answer:
The answer: Yes, it is the speech of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the magnitude of the reward is with the magnitude of the trial, and indeed, when Allah loves a people, He tests them. So whoever is pleased, for him is the pleasure, and whoever is displeased, for him is the displeasure." When Allah loves a people, He tests them. So whoever is pleased, for him is the pleasure from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and whoever is displeased and angry, for him is the bad reward from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
