Question:
What is the meaning of the supplication: “O Allah, guide us among those You have guided, and grant us well-being among those You have granted well-being”?

Answer:
Answer: It is clear; it is a request for guidance from Allah to the truth, and for success in it and acting upon it, among those whom Allah has guided, namely the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and good are those companions. “Guide us among those You have guided, and grant us well-being among those You have granted well-being.” Well-being in the body, well-being in religion, well-being in safety and stability; all these are types of well-being that require gratitude.
