The Prayer of Istikharah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a person intends to do two things, is there a prayer of istikharah for each thing, or is it sufficient to pray one prayer for both?

Answer:
Answer: If they are combined, one prayer is sufficient, and one supplication is made, the supplication of istikharah. But if they are separate at different times, then each matter has its own istikharah. This applies to important matters, important matters other than acts of worship. There is no istikharah for acts of worship because the benefit in them is apparent. But important matters, such as traveling, such as marrying a person, such as proceeding to buy a commodity or leaving it, one seeks istikharah in these.
