Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The honorable Shaykh said, may Allah guide you: How do we respond to one who says that he does not act upon ahad hadiths because they only convey conjecture? And does he discuss the names and attributes of Allah? We ask those who have knowledge in this field to urge him to abandon his school of thought.

Answer:
Answer: We say that they only convey conjecture in your view, but in the view of the people of knowledge, they convey knowledge. In your view, they only convey conjecture. You are not an authority in this matter, so do not impose your understanding; rather, apply it to the texts and say that ahad reports convey conjecture. This is your understanding, but in reality, they convey knowledge because they are the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) convey knowledge? Their chain of narration is authentic, their chain is authentic, and they are from the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). You say that the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) do not convey knowledge, and that what conveys knowledge is the rules of logic and the science of debate. This is from misguidance, and may Allah protect us from it. Yes.
