Prayer Toward Images

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it valid for a woman to pray in the presence of an image in a book or a sheet of paper? And if something is placed over the image or the book is closed, is the prayer valid?

Answer:
It is disliked for a Muslim to pray facing an image, and it is disliked to pray in a place where images have been hung or erected. As for images that are worn out or thrown on the ground, they have no effect. It is not permissible to keep images for memories or as a hobby, because the angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image, and because of the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to obliterate images.
