Ruling on raising the hands in supplication immediately after the obligatory prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q222: The questioner asks: What is the ruling on raising the hands in supplication immediately after performing the obligatory prayer? Also, some of the worshippers rush to stand up after performing the obligatory prayer and pray the sunnah without reciting the adhkar. What is the ruling on that?
A222: Both are errors. As for the one who raises his hands in supplication after the obligatory prayer; there is no evidence for raising the hands in supplication after the obligatory prayer; rather, it is done after the voluntary prayer. As for
the obligatory prayer, it is not done. It is permissible to make supplication, but one does not raise the hands. As for standing up immediately for the voluntary prayer after the obligatory prayer, this is also an error. This connects one prayer to another. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade connecting one prayer to another without separating them with speech or moving, so one should delay the prayer and recite the adhkar reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he finishes the adhkar, he stands up and performs the rawatib.
