Ruling on combining and shortening the prayer for one who intends to stay for more than four days

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q524: The questioner says: A group of people traveled on a business trip, and they intended to stay for more than four days, but they shortened and combined their prayers. Is there anything required of them regarding the prayers they have already performed?
A524: If they knew that their mission would not end before four days or more, then in this case they intended to reside, and at that point it is obligatory for them to complete the prayers like residents. However, if it turns out that they prayed and shortened them, I do not think they are required to repeat the prayer, as it is valid, if Allah wills. But in the future, they should not shorten the prayer in such a case.
