Leaving the Sacrifice of the Hady and Fasting

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 15504 )
Q: Whoperformed tamattu' by combining 'Umrah and Hajj with a break between them, but did not sacrifice the sacrificial animal, nor did he fast for three days during Hajj, nor did he fast for seven days when he returned to his family, what is required of him after two years have passed since Hajj, and what is the ruling on this Hajj: is it invalid or what?
A: The Hajj is valid, but he erred in delaying the slaughter of the tamattu' hady beyond its prescribed days, which are the day of 'Id and the three days following it. It is obligatory for him to slaughter a hady that qualifies as an 'Id sacrifice in Makkah , and this is considered making up a missed obligation. He should repent to Allah the Exalted and seek His forgiveness for the delay in the slaughter. If he is unable to slaughter, he must fast for ten days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
