He suffers from severe headaches when he fasts

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20213 )
Q2: I broke my fast for twenty-five days in Ramadan, fasting only five days, because whenever I fast, I am afflicted with a severe headache that lasts all day. Even during those five days I fasted, I was plagued by a painful headache , to the extent that when I wanted to pray, I could not prostrate except with great difficulty. Before this year, I used to fast normally without any issues, but
this came upon me due to my incorrect understanding of the religious texts regarding asceticism and renunciation of the world. I used to stay awake for a day or two without eating or on just one meal. As a result, I suffered from a persistent headache for ten months. I went to a specialist doctor and informed him of these events. He prescribed some medication and ordered me not to miss meals or neglect myself by going hungry. Therefore, whenever I fast or abstain from a meal, this headache returns. Accordingly, I gratefully request your ruling before the next Ramadan arrives or before death overtakes me in this state.

A2: It is obligatory for you to make up the days you broke your fast in Ramadan, and to do so as soon as you are able; for Allah the Exalted said:
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other daysوَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
. You owe nothing other than making up the fasts, unless you delay making them up while you are able to do so until another Ramadan arrives. In that case, it is obligatory for you, in addition to making up the fasts, to feed one poor person for each day with the amount of one and a half kilograms of food for each day. There is no blame in spreading out the days of making up the fasts. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
