A: It is obligatory for the pilgrim to ensure that the pebbles of the jamarat fall into the basin, and it is not required that they hit the pillar; rather, their falling into the basin is sufficient. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
