Agency in the stoning of the pillars out of fear of the crowd

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 14152 )
Q: My mother performed Hajj and completed the obligatory acts of Hajj except for the stoning of the pillars. She stoned one pillar and delegated the rest to someone without a valid legal excuse, but rather out of fear of the crowd. Knowing that this was her only Hajj and she has not performed it since, is her Hajj valid or not? If it is not valid, what is required of her?
A : If your mother delegated someone to stone the pillars on her behalf out of fear for her safety from the crowd at the stoning area, then her delegation is valid and there is no harm in that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
