The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20503 )
Q1: My wife, my sister, and I performed 'Umrah in Ramadan, but they wore gloves on my instruction during the 'Umrah, out of ignorance of the ruling. What must we do?
A1 : If a woman in the state of ihram wears gloves out of ignorance of the ruling, she owes nothing. However, if she learns of the ruling while in the state of ihram, it is obligatory for her to remove the gloves immediately.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
