Ruling on a woman wearing gloves during sa'y

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister asks: Is it permissible to wear gloves during sa'y?

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with wearing gloves during sa'y or at other times, meaning... she wore gloves when going out to the markets, when non-mahram men are present, all of this is fine. And if she covers her hands with something other than gloves, such as a jilbab or an abaya, there is nothing wrong with that.
The point is: there is nothing wrong with wearing gloves at all times, except for the one in ihram. If she is in ihram, she does not wear gloves, neither during sa'y nor during tawaf. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the one in ihram, saying:
Do not wear gloves.لا تلبس القفازين
This means: while she is in the state of ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah, if she has not yet exited the state of ihram.
As for if a person has performed Hajj, has completed the tawaf of ifadah, and has performed sa'y... if he has stoned the pillars, and has shaved or shortened his hair; then he has exited the state of ihram. If she has performed... she has stoned and shortened her hair; she may wear gloves, meaning she has exited the state of ihram... regarding clothing, like a man. But if she has not, if she has not stoned, or if she has stoned but has not performed tawaf; then she does not wear gloves until she exits the state of ihram for Hajj. In 'Umrah as well, she does not wear gloves until she performs tawaf and sa'y and shortens her hair until she exits the state of ihram; because she is in ihram. But she covers her hands with something other than gloves, with the abaya, with the jilbab, or with something else.
The point is: gloves are permissible for a woman except in the state of ihram. As long as she is in ihram; she has not exited the state of ihram, she does not wear them. Yes.
