Departure from 'Arafah after the 'Asr prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19711 )
Q2: My wife, one of my children, and I performed Hajj about fifteen years ago. We entered the state of ihram from the miqat on the morning of the Day of Tarwiyah, proceeded to Makkah , performed tawaf and sa'y, and headed to Mina after the 'Asr prayer, where we spent the night. After the Fajr prayer, we went to 'Arafah and stood there until after the sun had passed its zenith. After the 'Asr prayer, we headed to Muzdalifah and spent the night there. In the morning, we went to the Jamarat al-'Aqabah, stoned it, shaved our heads, and headed to Makkah . We performed tawaf al-ifadah and returned to Mina , where we stoned the pillars and spent the night. After stoning the pillars on the twelfth day, we went to Makkah and performed tawaf al-wada', then returned to our area south of al-Ta'if . Question: After all this time, one day I began to think about that Hajj and the type of ritual we intended. I could not remember whether we intended ifrad or qiran, except that I have a very slight suspicion that we intended ifrad, in that we slaughtered one sacrificial animal for me and the members of my household who performed Hajj with me, and we did not slaughter a hady.
Is it obligatory for us, given the situation as described, to slaughter a hady now and distribute it to the poor of the Haram to remove the doubt, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.دع ما يريبك إلى ما لا يريبك
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5711Sahih (Darussalam)
? Or what is obligatory for us? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good. I was not ignorant of the three types of Hajj at that time, but after the passage of the aforementioned period, I forgot, and doubts took hold of me, and I do not know whether we intended ifrad or qiran.

A2 : If the reality is as you described, that you departed from 'Arafah after the 'Asr prayer to Muzdalifah , then it is obligatory for each of you to slaughter a sheep that is acceptable for the 'Id sacrifice, to be slaughtered in Makkah and distributed to its poor; because you left a duty of Hajj, which is standing at 'Arafah until sunset. As for your doubt regarding which type of Hajj you intended, whether ifrad or qiran, what appears from your situation is that you intended ifrad, and there is nothing upon you in that. However, it is obligatory for each of you to perform the obligatory 'Umrah if you have not previously performed it and have not performed an 'Umrah since; because it is obligatory for a Muslim, when he is able, to perform Hajj and 'Umrah once, and anything beyond that is voluntary. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
