'Umrah with money borrowed from the bank

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 15134 )
Q: Is it permissible for my father to perform 'Umrah with money he borrowed from the bank ?
A: It is obligatory for one who intends to perform Hajj or 'Umrah for himself or for another to choose pure expenses for his Hajj and 'Umrah; because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is Pure and does not accept anything but what is pure. As for borrowing from the bank or others with interest, it is not permissible; because that is riba (usury or interest), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who eats riba, the one who gives it, the scribe, and the two witnesses, and he said:
They are all the same.هم سواء
And eating what is forbidden is a cause for the rejection of supplication and the non-acceptance of deeds. However, if it is without interest, there is no blame. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
