The ruling on borrowing from a bank and receiving a salary from it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I work at one of the banks, and I took out a loan to pay off my housing, where the bank takes a commission on this loan. What is the ruling on the debt? Also, our salaries from this bank are derived from the commission the bank collects on the amounts loaned to some customers. What is the ruling on the debt, and what is the ruling on the salary from this bank?

Answer:
As for the debt, it is not permissible. You must return only the principal, and they have no right to any increase. As for the fact that the loan is deducted from this bank, the sin is on the one who took the riba (usury or interest). You are taking your salary, and the bank contains both good and bad; the bank has things that are right and things that are not right. You do not know that this is from the riba (usury or interest) or from something other than riba (usury or interest). As for you dealing in riba (usury or interest), this is not permissible for you. And what you took from the interest, whether it is ten in a hundred or fifteen in a hundred, that is not yours. This is not permissible for you. And if it is still with you, you are not allowed to hand it over to them.

Question : Working in the bank?

Answer: Working in the bank is also not permissible; because it facilitates sin and transgression.
