The ruling on saying, “There is no deity worthy of worship in existence except Allah”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q11: The questioner asks: What is the validity of the phrase: “There is no deity worthy of worship in existence except Allah”?
A11: There is no need to say “in existence”; it is sufficient to say: “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He);” because there are many things worshipped; but the true deity is Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He). He the Exalted said:
That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.
[Al-Hajj 22:62]
