Appointing a disbeliever to distribute zakat al-fitr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of fatwa number ( 20903 )
Q4: Christians live with us in the village, and unfortunately, some Muslims think that Christians are trustworthy, so they leave their trusts with them
instead of with Muslims. One Muslim gave zakat al-fitr to a Christian and tasked him with distributing it to the poor. My question is: Is that permissible, and is the zakat accepted from this Muslim?

A4 : It is not permissible to appoint a disbeliever to distribute zakat al-fitr; because he is not trusted in matters of religion. Therefore, the obligation of the one upon whom it is due is not discharged except by paying its equivalent. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
