Zakat al-Fitr on behalf of a disbeliever

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 21593 )
Q5: Is it permissible for us to pay Zakat al-Fitr on behalf of a disbeliever if I am his agent?
A5 : It is not permissible for you to pay Zakat al-Fitr on behalf of a disbeliever because the fundamental condition is missing, which is Islam. This condition is required for the validity of performing what is commanded. Zakat al-Fitr is a financial act of worship, and in this type of worship, agency is not valid except with the permission of the person on whose behalf it is done, provided that person is accountable. A disbeliever’s intention is not valid, and if his intention is not valid due to his disbelief, then agency on his behalf is not valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
