Paying zakah from the capital and its increase

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 18247 )
Q: My brother and I are partners in the business of selling cars on installment. Our zakah on the capital comes due on 30/5, the end of Jumada al-Ula, every year, praise be to Allah. The question is: if, for example, at the end of Rabi' al-Akhir, in the middle of Rabi' al-Awwal, or at some other time, I sell a car on installment, do I have to include it in the zakah calculation? I note that the lunar year has not yet passed for it. I ask Allah to grant you success in providing a comprehensive answer to this issue. May Allah preserve you, and peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.
A : The capital you own and the profits resulting from it: if a lunar year has passed over the capital and it is at the nisab (minimum threshold for zakah) or more, it is obligatory for you to pay its zakah,
whether you have engaged the capital in deferred sales or not. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
