Q4: Is it permissible to pay zakah to the grandmother if she has a debt ?
A4 : It is permissible to pay zakah to settle the grandmother's debt; because this is not from the category of financial maintenance that is obligatory for her in the case of her needing it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
