Buying a car for the showroom and putting it in his own name

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21896 )
Q 1: I work in a car auction, and the owner of the showroom says, "If you find a clean car, buy it as if it were for yourself, pay the deposit, and come to us to take the money for the car owner. They may give us five hundred riyals if they make a profit, or they may not give us anything, knowing that they have not appointed us to buy a car for them. If the owner or the car's owner knew, he would not sell it to the showroom. I feel that I have lied to the car owner by saying I bought the car for myself, when in fact I bought it for the car auction showroom. They might say, 'You do not know a good car from a damaged one,' so that they do not give us anything. One of the righteous young men told me that this work is riba (usury or interest), and this is what made me raise the issue to the honorable scholars to benefit those who work in car auction showrooms, and to advise the owners of car auction showrooms, knowing that many good, praying people work in these showrooms.
A 1: It is not permissible for you to buy the car for the showroom and put it in your name; because this is lying and deception. And if you buy the car in your name, it becomes obligatory upon you and becomes
your property, so you may sell it to the aforementioned showroom or to others.
