The ruling on the imams’ saying in the qunut supplication: “And what You have sent down of evil in this night, avert it from the Muslims”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: What is the ruling on the imams’ saying in the qunut supplication: “And what You have sent down of evil in this night, avert it from the Muslims” ?
A2: There is nothing wrong with the aforementioned supplication; because the one making the supplication is asking Allah to grant him good and to avert evil from him and from the Muslims, and all of that is in the hand of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
