The ruling on a woman praying in her home if a child passes in front of her face

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18591 )
Q 2: What is the ruling on a woman praying in her home if a child passes in front of her face , does it break her prayer or diminish its reward?
A 2 : Passing in front of the one praying diminishes the prayer but does not invalidate it, unless the one passing is an adult woman, a donkey, or a black dog in front of him or between him and the sutrah - for each of these three breaks the prayer and invalidates it
And it is prescribed for the one praying to turn back anyone who wants to pass in front of him, whether an adult or a child, human or animal; for it is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
If anybody amongst you is praying behind something as a Sutra and somebody tries to pass in front of him, then he should repulse him and if he refuses, he should use force against him for he is a Shaitan (a Satan).إذا صلى أحدكم إلى شيء يستره من الناس فأراد أحد أن يجتاز بين يديه فليدفعه فإن أبى فليقاتله فإنما هو شيطان
Sahih al-Bukhari 509
It is agreed upon as authentic, and for what 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb narrated from his father from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:
We came down from the mountain pass of Adhaakhir in the company of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). The time of prayer came and he prayed facing a direction of prayer, and we were (standing) behind him. Then a kid came and passed in front of him. He kept on stopping it until he brought his stomach near the wall (to detain it), and at last it passed behind himهبطنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من ثنية أذاخر فحضرت الصلاة فصلى إلى جدار فاتخذه قبلة ونحن خلفه فجاءت بهمة تمر بين يديه فما زال يدارئها حتى لصق بطنه بالجدار ومرت من ورائه
Sunan Abi Dawud 708Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
It was narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud with a good chain. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
