A man passing in front of the one praying

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a man passes in front of you while you are in the middle of prayer, does your prayer become invalid?

Answer:
It does not become invalid because a man passes by. A man passing by does not invalidate the prayer. Rather, it is invalidated by one of three things: a woman, a donkey, and a black dog, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
In case there is not before him (an object) like the back of a saddle, a Muslim's Salat (prayer) would be cut off by (the passing of) a woman, a donkey and a black dogيقطع صلاة المرء المسلم إذا لم يكن بين يديه مثل مؤخرة الرحل: المرأة، والحمار، والكلب الأسود
Bulugh al-Maram 2:98
However, if there is a barrier in front of him, such as a stake, a planted stick, a pillar in front of him, a chair in front of him, or something similar, and a woman, a donkey, or a black dog passes behind it, then it does not harm.
Likewise, if someone passes by at a distance from him, not in front of him, passing by at a distance of more than three cubits, then it does not cut off the prayer. As for a man, he does not cut it off.
Likewise, a dog that is not black, and likewise a camel and sheep, do not cut it off. Rather, these three cut it off: the woman, meaning the adult woman, the donkey, and the black dog, as the Sunnah has come with this. However, it is not permissible for anyone to pass in front of the one praying. The one passing by is prevented. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If one of you prays facing something that shields him from people, and one of them wants to pass in front of him, let him push him away. If he refuses, let him fight him, for he is a devil.إذا صلى أحدكم إلى شيء يستره من الناس، فأراد أحدهم أن يجتاز بين يديه؛ فليدفعه، فإن أبى؛ فليقاتله، فإنما هو شيطان
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone who passes in front of a man who is praying knew the responsibility he incurs, he would stand still forty (years) rather than to pass in front of himلو يعلم المار بين يدي المصلي ماذا عليه؛ لكان أن يقف أربعين خيرًا له من أن يمر بين يدي المصلي
Sahih Muslim 507a
.
The point is: that the one praying prevents the one passing by, even if it is a man, and even if it is an animal, he prevents it if he is able. However, his prayer is not cut off except by one of the three: the woman, the donkey, and the black dog. But he prevents a man from passing, he prevents a boy from passing, he prevents a goat from passing, and so on, if he is able to do so, based on the hadith in which you heard his (peace and blessings be upon him) saying:
If one of you prays towards an object separating him from the people and someone tries to pass (between him and the object) in front of him, let him turn him away but if he refuses he should fight him for he is a devil.إذا صلى أحدكم إلى شيء يستره من الناس، وأراد أحد أن يجتاز بين يديه؛ فليدفعه فإن أبى؛ فليقاتله، فإنما هو شيطان
Bulugh al-Maram 2:101
Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
