Anas ibn Malik
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent seventy men for a need, who were called the reciters. Two tribes of Sulaym, Ra'il and Dawkhan, confronted them at a well called the Well of Ma'unah. The men said, "By Allah, we did not intend to target you; we are merely passing through on a mission for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." They killed them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for a month in the dawn prayer.

Abu Hurayrah
and Anas
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated after the last rak'ah in the prayer for a month: "O Allah, save al-Walid ibn al-Walid. O Allah, save Salim ibn Hisham. O Allah, save 'Iyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah. O Allah, save the oppressed of the believers. O Allah, intensify Your grip upon Mudar. O Allah, make it for them years like the years of Yusuf."

Sulaim, Ri‘l, Dhakwan and ‘Usayya, and those standing behind him said Amen. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
