Supplication when reciting verses of mercy or punishment

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18896 )
Q 3: I have heard some imams, when they recite after al-Fatihah some verses containing punishment or good news, as if they say in a voice lower than their recitation something that suits the verses For example: the last verse of Surat al-Qiyamah:
Is He not able to give life to the dead?أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى
We hear the imam say after it: (Subhanak bala) And another example from Surat al-‘Amr:
Indeed, Hell has been lying in waitإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا
[An-Naba 78:21]
He says after it: (O Allah, protect us from it) What is the ruling on such speech which is outside the scope of the noble verses being recited, whether the imam says it in an audible voice or says it without raising his voice?

A 3: If the imam asks, seeks refuge, and glorifies Allah at the appropriate verses in voluntary prayer - then this has been established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with what indicates its recommendation, as in the hadith of Hudhayfah in (Sahih Muslim ) when he described the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his recitation at night, he said:
When he reached a verse that spoke of glorifying Allah (SWT), he glorified Him. When he reached a verse that spoke of supplication, he made supplication. When he reached a verse that spoke of seeking refuge with Allah, he sought refuge with Him.إذا مر بآية فيها تسبيح سبح، وإذا مر بسؤال سأل، وإذا مر بتعوذ تعوذ
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1664Sahih (Darussalam)
The hadith. And as for if he does that in obligatory prayer, it is better to leave it; because it was not narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he did it in obligatory prayer.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
