A farm supervisor who travels to the farms: Does he have the dispensation for prayer?

Fatwa number ( 20785 )
Q: I work as a supervisor on farms located about 130 km from my residence, and I travel daily to these farms, and sometimes I stay there for two or three consecutive days. What is the ruling regarding my prayer in terms of shortening and completing it? Knowing that at times some of my brothers from my same town come to the farm and stay with me for a day or two, and they shorten their prayers, so I shorten with them, and on other days I pray with the workers present at the farm, completing the prayer with them?
A: If you do not intend to stay at the farm for more than four days, there is no harm in shortening the four-rak'ah prayer to two rak'ahs. The same ruling applies to those who visit you and do not intend to stay for more than four days. As for one who intends to stay for more than four days, it is not permissible for him to shorten the prayer. If you pray behind someone who completes the prayer, it is obligatory for you to complete the prayer following your imam.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
