The traveler who intends to travel at the time of prayer: what should he do?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa number ( 17849 )
Q 2: If my wife is with me, is it permissible for me to perform the prayer at home or at the place I am heading to? I ask you to inform me about this matter, and may Allah preserve you and care for you.
A 2: If the time for prayer enters and you have not yet started your journey, you should pray with the congregation in the mosque, then travel afterwards. However, if the time for prayer enters after you have already started your journey, then if the prayer is one that can be combined with the one following it, such as Zuhr with 'Asr, or Maghrib with 'Isha', it is permissible for you to delay the current prayer and combine it with the other prayer as a combination of delay. If the prayer is not one that can be combined with the one following it, such as 'Asr, 'Isha, and Fajr, then it is not permissible to delay it from its time. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
