The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18556 )
Q 2: Is it permissible for a person to will his family to use his ihram garments as his shroud when he dies, and is there any virtue in doing so?
A 2: We are not aware of any evidence from the Sunnah that supports the will to use the ihram garments as a shroud, nor is it the practice of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), nor is it the guidance of the Salaf of this Ummah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
