Dividing into two groups for prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21575 )
Q: We are employees at one of the companies, and we have a prayer hall that is approximately (6 meters) wide and (7 meters) long, and we perform the obligatory prayer in it in two groups due to work conditions, because we cannot leave the sensitive devices that cannot be left unattended, so some of us go while the rest remain stationed at them. When Friday comes, we perform the Friday prayer in two groups: the first group prays Friday, and the other remains stationed at the devices, then the other group goes to pray Friday. So the question, O honorable Shaykh, is: Is what we did valid or invalid? Please issue a ruling, and may you be rewarded.
A: There is no harm in your dividing into two groups to perform the prayer at the workplace, because the nature of your work requires it. However, the Friday prayer is not valid for you at your workplace, because what is obligatory for you is to pray it in the nearby congregational mosque. However, given that your work conditions require it, a group of you remains at the work equipment and a group goes to pray Friday with the people in the mosque, then [the first group] comes and takes over the work from the remaining group so that they can pray Zuhr as four rak'ahs.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
