Leaving the congregational prayer and not praying in the mosque except for the Friday prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 21368 )
Q5: I ask for clarification of the Islamic ruling regarding one who leaves the congregational prayer and does not pray in the mosque except for the Friday prayer, and indeed some of them do not pray except on the day of Eid with the congregation, and do not pray in the mosque, neither Friday nor congregational prayer. Please rule on this serious matter in which some Muslims have been negligent, especially some of the young people, may Allah guide us and them to what He is pleased with, and keep us away from His anger and painful punishment.
A5: The congregational prayer is obligatory for individuals for the five daily prayers, and for the Friday prayer, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever hears the call and does not respond, he has no prayer, except one who has an excuse.من سمع النداء فلم يجب فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:352
, and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) to the blind man who came to seek his permission to pray in his home due to the hardship he faced in going to the mosque, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
He asked: Do you hear summons (adhan)? He said: Yes.هل تسمع النداء؟ قال: نعم، قال: فأجب
Sunan Abi Dawud 552Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to burn the houses of those who lagged behind in prayer with fire.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
