Combining the Prayer for the Disabled Student
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 17761 )
I am a disabled student who goes to school before the midday prayer. The call to prayer for the midday prayer is made while I am at school, and I am unable to pray at school because of
the device that prevents me from moving. I used to leave school after the afternoon prayer, which is the end of the school day, and then go home to pray the midday prayer and then the afternoon prayer . Is my action correct?
A: It is obligatory for you to pray the midday prayer in its time according to your ability; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[At-Taghabun 64:16] , and His saying: [Al-Baqarah 2:286] . And if you are unable to pray at the place of work and cannot leave except at the time of the afternoon prayer, then you intend to combine, and when you leave, you pray the midday and afternoon prayers as a combined delayed prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

So fear Allah as much as you are able
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْAllah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity
لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلا وُسْعَهَا
