The Adhan of the Disabled Person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 20592 )
Q: I am a disabled man who cannot pray except while sitting. There is a mosque near me, and it may be that the time for the adhan arrives and no one is present to call the adhan. In that case, I perform the adhan myself while sitting through the microphone. I should note that this mosque does not have a permanent mu'adhdhin, or in other words, someone appointed by the authority responsible for mosques, and whoever is present at the time of the adhan calls it. Is it permissible for me to call the adhan while sitting for the reason I mentioned earlier? Please issue a ruling on this, may Allah reward you with good.
A: The original ruling for the adhan is that it be performed by one who is standing, and it is permissible for one who is sitting
for an excuse, if the announcement is thereby conveyed; because the intended purpose is achieved by it. And the adhan by one who is standing is better if it is facilitated. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
