Q 2: What is the ruling on combining the Friday prayer with the 'Asr prayer for a traveler during the time of Friday prayer ? May Allah reward you.
A 2: It is not permissible to combine the 'Asr prayer with the Friday prayer; because the 'Asr prayer is not of the same kind as the Friday prayer, as stated in (Sharh al-Muntaha) and other works. His Eminence the Shaykh: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim , the Mufti of the Saudi lands (may Allah have mercy on him), issued a ruling prohibiting this. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
