A woman’s prayer when part of her foot or hair is exposed
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 17973 )
Q 3: My mother sometimes prays in my room, but she prays with part of her foot exposed, and sometimes a little of her head hair slips out. What is the ruling on the prayer , is it valid or not? May Allah reward you with Paradise.
A 3: Covering the 'awrah is a condition for the validity of the prayer, and the entire body of a woman is 'awrah in prayer except her face, provided she is not in the presence of non-mahram men. Therefore, if she prays with something of her hair or her feet exposed and she is able to cover it, her prayer is not valid; because the condition has not been fulfilled. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
