Q 4: If we were a group of women, and I, by the grace of Allah, memorize verses of the Qur'an, is it permissible for me to lead them in prayer? I have read that it is not permissible for women to lead women in prayer.
A 4 : It is permissible for women to pray in congregation led by one of them, but without the adhan or iqamah; because the adhan and iqamah are specific to men. The woman leading the women stands in the middle of the first row. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
