Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of the fatwa number ( 15928 )
Q 6: What is the distance that grants a dispensation to the one who prays so that he does not go to the mosque to pray the congregational prayer or the Friday prayer?
A 6: It is obligatory to attend the prayer in the mosque for everyone who hears the call to prayer; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever hears the call and does not respond, he has no prayer, except one who has an excuse.من سمع النداء فلم يجب فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:352
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
