The second question of fatwa number ( 14208 )
Q 2: What is the ruling regarding a man who lived before my eyes, never abandoning any of the five obligatory prayers in his life, and who was a memorizer of the entire Noble Qur'an, and who acted upon what is in the Qur'an, and that is in my account, and Allah is his accountant, but when he died (in the illness of death) he abandoned prayer for three days and died after that , so what is required of us, since we love this man and we wish to complete something for him after his death, so what is the ruling in that?
A 2: As for the prayers that he was unable to perform and abandoned—during the illness of death, and then died after that—you are not required to make them up on his behalf. And if you love this man, you may give charity on his behalf, seek forgiveness for him, and make du'a' for him; because of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him)Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1376Sahih (Darussalam) narrated by Muslim.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him.
