A diabetic patient who experiences continuous urinary leakage

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 18431 )
Q1: I am a man suffering from diabetes, and during prayer while I am in the mosque, urine comes out of me . I leave the prayer to change my clothes and perform wudu' again. What should I do? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you.
A1 : If the urine comes out of you continuously, you must clean yourself when you intend to pray, and place a protective barrier on your private part to prevent urine from leaking onto your body and clothes. Then, perform wudu' and pray whenever the time enters. If urine comes out of you during the prayer, your prayer in this case is valid;
because Allah the Exalted said:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
. However, if the urine does not come out of you continuously, you must leave the prayer if it occurs during it, wash the parts of your body and clothes that the urine touched, perform wudu', and then pray. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
