The Prayer of the Patient Who Cannot Control Urination

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 5440 )
Q4: My aunt is suffering from cancer of the uterus and is unable to control her urination—may Allah protect you. She is an elderly, blind woman. When the time for the midday prayer enters, she performs a full ritual bath, sits down, and prays the midday and afternoon prayers together; because urine comes out during movement, and likewise for the sunset and night prayers. Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A4: If the matter is as described, she should pray according to her condition. There is no objection to combining the midday and afternoon prayers in the time of either one, and likewise combining the sunset and night prayers; due to the general evidence of the Shari'ah's facilitation. Her ablution for the midday and afternoon prayers should be performed after the time has entered, and likewise her ablution for the sunset and night prayers should be performed after the time has entered. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
