Q1: I am a young man aged ( 20 ) years, suffering from the disease of involuntary urination in bed at night , and because I am, praise be to Allah, committed to my religion, I have been greatly embarrassed; for I wake up every day to perform the Fajr prayer, only to find myself wet with urine on my body, my clothes, and my bed. So the ghusl and purification have become difficult for me every day. This disease has afflicted me for years since my youth until now, so what should I do?
A1 : If urination occurs in your bed, then when you wake up for the Fajr prayer, you wash the parts of your body and your garment that were affected by the impurity, and you perform istinja' by washing the penis, then you perform wudu' and pray. And if you prepare a garment to sleep in and remove it when you get up, and pray in a pure garment - that is better and easier. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
