Q: I need time after urinating for the urine to finish coming out, and I am able to perform istinja' (cleaning) correctly. My question is: if I leave the
bathroom and wait for the remaining urine, which is very little, to come out, is it obligatory for me to be careful so that nothing from the urine hits my body, or is what hits my body and clothes in this case excused, so that I do not have to wash it? A: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions. And to proceed: If drops of urine come out of you after the act of urination and hit your body or your clothes, it is obligatory for you to wash what was hit by it, because urine is najasah (ritually impure), along with repeating the istinja'. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
