Peace upon the one who recites the Qur'an in the mosque
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q 8: If a person enters the mosque and prays the greeting of the mosque, and there is a man to his right or left reciting the Qur'an, should he greet him or leave him alone? Because if he greets him, the Muslim fears that the reciter's presence of heart for the recitation will be lost and the Muslim will sin, but if he does not greet him, perhaps there will be resentment in his heart as to why he did not greet him. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: as in the hadith, and perhaps the reciter does not know that he left off the greeting only out of fear that his presence of heart for the recitation would be lost. So which is better, to greet him or to leave him, and to greet him when the iqamah is called? May Allah reward you with good in this world and the Hereafter and extend your life, amen.
A 8 : The Sunnah is to greet him; for what came in the authentic hadiths regarding the prescription of greeting and shaking hands upon meeting. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
Spread the greeting of peace among yourselves.
