The recommendation of greeting a Muslim upon meeting him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The eighth question of Fatwa No. ( 9328 ):
Q8: If a person enters the mosque and prays the greeting of the mosque, and there is a man to his right or left reciting the Qur'an, should he greet him or leave him alone; because if he greets him, the greeter fears that the reciter's presence of heart for the recitation will be lost and the greeter will sin, and if he does not greet him, perhaps there is resentment in his heart toward him and he thinks he did not greet him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Spread the greeting of peace among yourselves.أفشوا السلام بينكم
as in the hadith,
and perhaps the reciter does not know that he left the greeting only out of fear of losing his presence of heart, so which is better? To greet him, or to leave him and greet him when the prayer is called for? May Allah reward you with the good of this world and the Hereafter and extend your life, amen.

A8: The Sunnah is to greet him; because of what came in the authentic hadiths regarding the prescription of greeting and shaking hands upon meeting. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
