Q 3: Is tajwid of the Qur'an obligatory upon me?
A 3 : It is recommended for the Muslim to receive the Book of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) (the Qur'an) from a scholar of correct recitation so that he may be able to know it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
